Between Beauce and Perche, 20 minutes from Chartres and its famous cathedral, the municipal campsite of Courville-sur-Eure welcomes you during the summer season. In a green setting, in the shade of poplars on the banks of the Eure, you will find this peaceful and serene family campsite 5 minutes from the city center.

Equipements
The Courville campsite is equipped with a sanitary block with 7 showers including 1 shower and 1 sanitary reserved for disabled people and 7 toilets, a bowling green, a play structure for children, a kiosk with wifi connection, a laundry room equipped with a washing machine and a freezer and a refrigerator are also available.
Motorhome area

Token price: 2.50 euro Tokens on sale at the campsite reception during the season, from certain merchants and at the town hall the rest of the time (2 tokens maximum / motorhome).
Courville-sur-Eure
Charming town, steeped in secrets and history, Courville-sur-Eure is distinguished by its rich heritage, both historical, industrial and cultural. A curved city crisscrossing the Eure, as its etymology attests, its origins date back to the Neolithic and the Gallo-Roman period, traces of habitat having been found to the east and west of the city. It is full of exceptional heritage, including 3 sites classified in the inventory of historical monuments. Its picturesque water mills but also its remarkable religious buildings: the Saint-Gilles chapel, the Saint-Pierre church and the Madeleine chapel among others, bear witness to different eras but each one representing a heritage from the past. The arrival of illustrious figures such as Napoleon, Alexandre Dumas, and many others is only the proof: Courville is as alive as it is intoxicating thanks to its shops, its cultural life and its entertainment as much fun as it is sporting. Located at the crossroads of Beauce, Perche and Thymerais, conducive to green tourism, nature is very present and mainly marked by three ponds and a cycle path along the banks of the Eure; favorite places for fishermen and hikers, ideal for picnicking on sunny days and indulging in relaxation.
